Yesterday I argued with a kid in the morning and I was left feeling uneasy all day. The whole my online life, I've argued with people from the internet a lot of times, and still it's not a fun thing to do. I'm the phlegmatic type who wouldn't speak up to avoid confrontation until it really really bugs me. This time it did.

Okay, here are my thoughts on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 Reunited episode. Given the nature of the show the past seasons, this time they are doing it the unconventional way. Ru stated that it was to prevent the name of the winner to leak before the show ends, but of course, behind it there's also a marketing strategy to get more views and ratings (and it worked).

The show starts and it felt weird to see RPDR in front of a live audience. Usually drag queens perform in small, dark nightclubs, so it's like taking something underground to the mainstream (if it isn't there already). There was also a proud feeling inside of me knowing how this show was when it first started in 2009, and how far it has grown. The opening number was cute, simple but neat, and I love how they arrange the top three to wear gold and the rest of the contestants in black. Since I did a review on all the queens in my first ever Season 4 post of RPDR, let me go back and review everyone again now.

Ugh, the more days came passed by, the more articles I read about the finale, the more I'm enraged about the whole finale fiasco. Like, WHAT IS THE ESSENCE of a reality TV show? It's to get a deserving winner out of the competition, no matter how scripted and how rigged the show is. I read the post from EW on ONTD, which gave us the secrets from the reunion episode filming. The one that annoyed me the most is that they actually filmed the crowning scene THREE TIMES, one win for each finalist. WTF? So the finalists had to fake a win and two loses each. *smh*

By the time the reunion episode is filmed, it's already more than 6 months from the original season filming. MORE THAN SIX FUCKING MONTHS. The contestants are no longer in the heat of the competition and the crowning scene will be as dull as it could ever be. Plus, oh, they also have to fake a win, apparently. Can you expect that the winning emotion showed by the victor would be as genuine as if that person was actually crowned IN the finale episode AT THE END OF THE REAL COMPETITION? And the losing queen as well, they've seen what is coming, they'd show no regret whatsoever when they don't win. Remember how crushed Manila was when Raja won last year? The genuine emotion, and how we, viewers sympathized with her. That is a crucial part of a reality TV show, this is complete and utter bullshit.

One more thing I'm concerned about. Since Ru seemed to be not having her mind made yet about who SHOULD win the show, I think it would be a factor that Sharon actually WON the all stars voting (uh, or any other voting, yes and thank you). I mean, no matter how we, her fans spammed the show's facebook page or twitter account with Sharon's name, they'd think that Sharon still has another shot on the competition when she compete for the All Stars season this fall. While Chad, and Phi Phi don't seem like having the same chance. What I'm saying is ... they might refrain from crowning Sharon as the winner because of that. I don't even know anymore, I'm so pissed.

You know, I'd rather you crown Phi Phi and watch the rage that is ensued. The drama and the horror would be delicious. It'll be fun to count how many people will boycott Absolut and wouldn't be back to watch next season. It will be the biggest backlash ever that I would not mind to witness.

I'd rather you skip the rewind episode and add a non-elimination round a few episodes back.

Anything that keeps the finale - a real grand finale episode and not just a bullshit top three filler episode. With or without it, people's opinion on your top three wouldn't change much. Sharon is still the most popular one, Chad is still the most polished, and Phi Phi is still the stank bitch that everyone hates. And most importantly, probably it won't change how you feel about them either. You choose a winner, whether it's a popular opinion or not, whether the queen of your choice is a universally hated bitch or not, whether the fans of the show screams in disagreement or not in the end. It's always been your choice, and will always be. So what the fuck is the fucking point of making the fans wait for another week to find out the winner? Rating? Social media buzz? Seriously you did more harm to your own show than when you crown Tyra Sanchez as the winner of season 2.

Tommy, on the other hand, is doing a little US tour with Adam to promote Adam's new album & single at radio stations accross the country. Which results in, lots of new pics and videos of him surfacing every day. It's a really good feeling to see him smiling and being cute in general.

Right around the beginning of the month, inspired20in20 is doing another round and had a sign-up post up. I took my time to contemplate whether to do this or not, usually I let the inspiration post 'talk' to me before I decide to join. But this time, all the memories I have about the comm is a fun, awesome, positive ones so I have no hesitation to sign up even before the inspiration post was up. And I decided to sign up with Tommy :) I can not wait to make Tommy icons again with the techniques I learned the past couple of months. My last Tommy icon post was in October last year for tjr_challenges, and I've grown a lot since then.

Whenever I'm obsessed with something I feel like it's all I see.

When I was obsessed with Tommy everytime I see similar haircut, grey and black stripes, creepers, anything that has a remote resemblance with him, my heart goes "Tommy!". When I was obsessed with Andrej I used to stand in front of Gaultier boutique waiting for the monitor to show the glimpse of him on the runway. I took a photo of a hand drawing in a shoe store that looks just like him.

A while ago I was browsing models.com as usual to check the ranks and such and I ended up looking at the top 50 female models section and found this cover of Dazed and something inside me screamed "Sharon!!!" (Needles, that is). But honestly I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees it??

As announced everywhere, RuPaul's Drag Race is coming back this fall with a 6 episodes long All Stars version, including some of the 46 past (and current) contestants from the show.

Aside from producers' choices, there will be one spot for fan favorite queen, and fans are encouraged to vote. They can vote on facebook once every 24 hours. These are top voted queens as of now :


I think I've voted for Pandora, Raven, Raja and Sharon but to be honest I love them all, I can't choose!

If you don't know, the episode leaked. Someone ripped it from logotv's website and put it up online. Without the smallest hesitation I went ahead and watched and downloaded it and felt sooo happy about the fact that I don't have to wait for my working hours to end on Tue to get to watch it. Now I can join discussions!!

Anyway, since the episode hasn't aired yet, everything I'm going to say about it is considered spoiler so ... under the cut!

Wow, it's ep 6 already! Yet I can't wait til next week when Jiggly is out. She's next, right?

Now this, is an episode I like better. They show us when Ru gave them the essignment, we saw them working on it and they told us the concept of what they're making! Though, you know, they still didn't have enough time to show Ru talking to all the queens.

The mini challenge was fun ... I guess. It was weird watching the queens shaking their blurred boobs while the half naked pit crews pour water on them. Actually, I don't really have any problems watching if my dad hadn't been standing behind me when I was watching it.

This is a decision that I *might* regret later on. Not because it's a bad one, but because I know, this decision might lead me to something I can't control. I can only hope I wouldn't be crazy obsessed about it. Yesterday, I've offered my help for one of Sharon Needles fan blogs on tumblr, fuck-yeahsharonneedles. There are a lot of fan blogs of hers, but this is the one I've been following. Plus, looking at the page they already have 4 people as their group members, which means there is a big possibility that they'll let me in, rather than if I apply to help to a one man blog. So I observe the blog to check who is in charge amongst the 4 of them, whom I could message to beg to join? Hmm. I decided to send a message to a girl who seemed to post the most. She has no problem with me joining, and a couple hours later ... I was in.

I actually have some advices to these kids though. I'm a fuck yeah blog veteran so I know my way around it.

While I'm on it, I figured I'd just go for the second episode as well.

I don't really know what how to word what I feel about this episode. I couldn't see it for about 3 days because there were no download link. Living in a non-US country, Logo website is practically useless because I can't access any video content they have. I spent those 3 days by anxiously refreshing my source for download, sending message to a capper asking him to cap the second episode, and of course, torturing myself with spoilers, recaps and discussion posts.

When I finally got my download, I was in a super high adrenaline and dopamine mode, I was so excited I seriously couldn't control myself. I watched the episode and Untucked, and I LOVED IT. I was shaking, laughing, crying over it. I couldn't sleep thinking about it.

Yesterday I was re-visiting my old blog(s). Some of the entries are so much fun to read I was seriously considering to import my blog content from LJ to DW.
( But soon I realized, I didn't want it. )

(2) Help! I might be obsessed with Sharon Needles!
I started watching season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race without any expectation. I didn't try to find out who the contestants are beforehand, I didn't try to remember when the show will premier, I wasn't even sure if I'm going to watch it. Either I think that this season might be shitty, or IDK I was scared that I'm going to be overly obsessed about it just like last year.

AAAND today is the airing of second episode!!! AAAAAHHHH *runs around in circle in excitement* Though I probably wouldn't be able to see it until I'm off work (or worse tomorrow, or even worse til the download link appears which is only god knows when) *sobs*.

I might will start using creepy icons of her and start making picspams of 'Sharon Needles moments' episode review or something.

ps. I had a dream last night that Andrej was a guest star in one of RPDR episode, weird crossover! (that I 100% approve). It was weird, Andrej was standing (modelling?) in front of a green/turquoise glittery background, he was pretty, his hair was pretty and was not very long. At first I thought we got a new video of his photoshoot or something but then it was revealed that he was a guest star for RPDR and there are RPDR contestants cheering at him.
