I have a little confession to make. I've actually cut ties with my Andrej sources back in the end of February. I figured, if I need anything, it's easy to pick things up from anywhere, I know my ways. I don't need to be shoved in the face with bad fanarts and ugly edits every day. Lately there's nothing big going on about him anyway, his world is not really inspiring at the moment.

Tommy, on the other hand, is doing a little US tour with Adam to promote Adam's new album & single at radio stations accross the country. Which results in, lots of new pics and videos of him surfacing every day. It's a really good feeling to see him smiling and being cute in general.

Right around the beginning of the month, inspired20in20 is doing another round and had a sign-up post up. I took my time to contemplate whether to do this or not, usually I let the inspiration post 'talk' to me before I decide to join. But this time, all the memories I have about the comm is a fun, awesome, positive ones so I have no hesitation to sign up even before the inspiration post was up. And I decided to sign up with Tommy :) I can not wait to make Tommy icons again with the techniques I learned the past couple of months. My last Tommy icon post was in October last year for tjr_challenges, and I've grown a lot since then.

Though I'm fully aware that working with amateur/fan taken, low light photos of Tommy will need different tricks than when I edit profesional magazine pics of Andrej.

The inspiration post was up last Sunday and the general theme is 'Resourceful'. It didn't quite pop an idea or trigger any clear concept in my head when I first read it, but I'm going to take it in my own way and just run with it. My idea for this is to make this set 'library_of_sex' style. In other words, heavily texturized (uh, like my last batch wasn't but whatever, I love textures!). I'm going to challenge myself to use different types of textures and make things with compositions I haven't tried before. We have a national holiday this friday, I'm super pumped to do my icons on this long weekend :D

In addition to Tommy icons, I'm also planning to make a small Andrej batch and some of Sharon, too! All my obsessions in one place, so it's totally going to be an exciting post :D
