Seriously? I don't even know what's going on anymore. I'm numb to all this now and hope that the trend does NOT continue.

When I saw his 'controversy' I thought it was just an old friend joking. I never thought things behind the scenes are so serious it could lead up to Wonho departing from Monsta X, are you kidding me?

MX was the group I was happy to discover when I got back to KPop in 2017. I love them, I have most of their songs and I always check out their releases. However, I was in the middle of moving last week and I haven't got the chance to watch their latest MV/listen to the album. This is comeback week! You can't quit! I thought Woojin quitting in the middle of a comeback preparation was bad, but this is another level. MX had to change their coreo IN ONE NIGHT. They had to deal with this huge crisis in mere hours, accept it, and move on with business like it was just any other problem. They had to appear in front of the fans with happy faces as nothing has happened. THEY JUST LOST A MEMBER THEY'VE BEEN TOGETHER WITH FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. WTF. This is insanity.

People thought it was an exaggeration/overreaction to withdraw Wonho from MX over a problem that could be solved (the money part). However, I think Wonho knows that there are a lot of things from his past that could be dug up now that will tarnish the reputation of the group and the company bad enough that he insisted to go. He could be blackmailed, IDK. The money problem, drug allegation, aggravated robbery, the juvie, everything is overwhelming and paint a picture of a troubled young person that was Wonho. It was from his pre-MX past, but these are pretty serious crimes.

Days later, fans are still rallying on twitter and IRL in front of Starship building but honestly, I think it's a lost battle. Starship has released two official statements regarding Wonho and I don't think anything is going to change now.

I was excited about recent comebacks especially Super Junior, SEVENTEEN and Monsta X, however... after the title tracks came out turns out... I don't really like them.

Super Junior's Black Suit was... okay? The video is fun and the choreography is great. But I don't love the song. I'm only giving my real money to groups other than my bias groups by buying their song on iTunes IF I like the song on first couple of listens. I tried listening to samples of other songs in their album, and none of the songs make me want to buy any of them. Looking at them performing and listening to the new songs made me realized how important Kyuhyun and Ryeowook's role in SJ's songs. I miss them :( I also want Sungmin to have activities with SJ again.

SEVENTEEN's Clap was... hmm. I really liked Don't Wanna Cry (I still think this song deserves to win best choreography and best music video, it's just so beautiful and pleasant to watch), but... that's about it. I tried listening to their other songs and I don't like them. The same with Clap, the choreography is awesome as always with SVT, but the song is just not my cup of tea. I tried listening to their other songs in the album and again, none strikes me as a must have song. I realized that SVT's style in general doesn't match my personal preference.

Monsta X's Dramarama was... hmm. I really don't like the DRAMAMARAMAMARAMAMA part, it's so annoying! Also the bridge(?), Hyungwon's part, is... really weird and doesn't seem like it belong to the song, tbh. Musically though Monsta X is very consistent and I LOVE their style so much. I know whatever album they release I will find something I like in it. So I went to listen to their album and purchased 'From Zero' and 'Now or Never', very beautiful songs.

Actually, to my surprise the title song I like from recent releases is Victon's 'Remember Me'. I remember I wasn't really impressed with their previous songs that I don't own any of them on my iTunes.

For the remaining of November, I will be looking out for Wanna One and Pentagon's comeback.
