I finished my set!!!! I didn't drop out! I'm officially keeping my words, only signing up to a challenge when I know I'm going to finish it.

I WAS OBSESSED to sign up for model20in20. When I discovered it, Andrej was claimed :( So I waited another round, but the next round was Christmas special so we get the mod chose the model for us and not us claiming what we want like usual, so yeah, no. And then the next signed up post went up, I've waited for months for this so I signed up.

But as much as I hate it, I had to tell the mod I might wouldn't be able to finish it due to sudden trip out of town. One of my close friends told me that he's getting married out of town just a WEEK before. I was busy checking train schedule and calling other friends to check whether they're going. Turns out, NO ONE is going, it's just too freaking far plus it's on a Sunday, which means everyone has to go to work the day after. My only hope was my other close friend whom we used to hang out with in college. I said, if he's going, I'm going. He hesitated, he has a baby and he has to go to work both on Sat and Mon. But for the sake of friendship, he decided to go. Just when I thought he bought the train tickets, he called and said he decided that we'll go on a road trip there on his car. So yeah, I spent 10 hours on the road yesterday. 4 hours heading to Indramayu, 1 and a half hour at the wedding, and another 4+ hours back. It wasn't really exhausting, since I didn't get to drive at all. If any, it was a bit painful because I was hoping I could go just with him on a train trip, reliving those good old days of college instead of being trapped in a car with him and his wife whom I'm not close to.

IN SHORT. I thought I wouldn't make it, so I told the mod that I might drop out. The truth is, I worked the category set long time ago and was super super inspired by then, but afterwards, I STUCK. I kept trying to make icons work from pics that I hate and clearly, it's not helping. Today I created the set almost from scratch, I just need a new mood to get me out of my slump.

Ugh, this reminds me how much I love Mika. I don't care that it's in French and that French is one of the most difficult languages in the world and that I suck so bad at learning European languages. I got flaily and been listening to this on loop.
