On Graphics
Last Friday as I glanced through my f-list on LJ I encountered a mod post at inspired20in20. In it the mod was emphasizing to participants to stick to the theme, and that icons for this round shouldn't show clear subjects, and should obscure them in some way. I was so inspired by that post I signed up for the challenge again after 13 rounds! I claimed ... Luhan. Of course. As I was so inspired, I immediately work on my first icons for the batch, and some with clear concept in my mind went great, went okay, but after cropping like 30 pics, I started to get frustrated about it. Because when I see it most of my icons fall on the category of just 'no face', while the point of this whole challenge is to push yourself to create icons beyond your comfort zone, and the concept is supposed to be about obscuring your subject on purpose. I look at my sad batch of icons again at 1 am, alone and frustrated, and they all look purposeless. I need to get on them again and create some complex icons (which is my total weakness). Sketching some ideas atm.

On Luhan
How could this kid be so pretty, HOW? How exactly? He is so pretty and cute I can't stand it. I've been saving hundreds of pictures of him for several challenges and for my own mood theme project (that I haven't even started yet), and my reaction to every picture is '(♥___♥)', 'OMG angel', 'so cute', 'so pretty' that I mutter to myself like a crazy person.

On EXO
Apparently today is the anniversary of their official debut. AND THERE IS STILL NO NEW SINGLE, NO TEASERS, NO SCHEDULE ON ANY KIND OF COMEBACK AAAHHHHH. I know EXO-M just performed for Super Joint Concert in Bangkok and EXO-K performed for ... a show just recently but C'MON. It's been a year and they only have a fucking mini album with 6 songs in it and they're still lipsyncing to MAMA and History every single time they perform, I mean ... I really don't get what SM is trying to do here. What is EXO to them, anyway? A failed product? A filler group? I get that there are lots of other more successful group under their wings but these kids need to come back like yesterday.

On Shopping
I really need to repress my urge to shop, this is getting out of control, I supposed to be saving for a new computer (T___T). Yesterday I accompanied my mom going to ITC Kuningan and I was just accompanying her to get stuff for dad and stuff for dad's newly renovated room in granny's house at my parents' hometown. But yeah, I got home with lots of shopping bags and spent more than I supposed to spend before pay day. No more shopping. I need to save.

On Nails
New nails! Inspired by Dhani's nails, and I applied this using the ombre techniques that I learned from YouTube trying to find Trespassing-ish nails for Adam's concert. With the ombre techniques I don't have to be extra careful when applying nails with my left hand, because it supposed to look a bit messy. For this look I used Revlon Vixen color, and Face Shop Face It BL602 that has pearls, with silver glitter and top + base coat. I think I'm going to try ombre techniques again but with colors on black or colors on color, probably will look better.
