I feel like I haven't been doing anything creative for a while, so I was very happy to find active challenge communities on DW.

Last night, I managed to transform this :

which is an accomplishment because that cap gave me hell.

For graphics challenge communities, I'm currently participating in theaviary which is a lot of fun, iconthat, participated once in fridayfive, and the magical20in20 challenge in caffeinatedmagic was soooo tempting but in the end I didn't enter because of ... reasons.

As for the non-graphics, I signed-up for snapshot_bingo which seemed to be so exciting and fun reading about it. Plus, I have a new prosumer camera I bought before Japan that I'm totally in love with. But when I tried to get snapshots for some of the prompts, it's actually not that easy. My life is too boring, I need to explore more.

Last night in general I felt like I accomplished a lot. I managed to work on my abandoned translation (up to 800-ish out of 1600-ish), I tried ChaTime while waiting after work (because milk tea = Luhan <3), I went to taught Mr. S and had a fun time chatting with him (plus he paid me for the lesson and he also gave me a new papua batik fabric), I went home and finished two challenges.

I haven't worked with Andrej photos for a long while, but I do think he is one of the easiest subjects to work with. Great quality photos (srsly screencaps suck!), awesome photography concept, lots of options, colors, and most importantly PRETTEH. If I need to whip out something real quick for a challenge, I'd grab his pics and mess around with them. When I saw 'glamor' as one of the prompts in a challenge at theaviary, I immediately thought of him and break my own K-Pop-idols-graphics-only streak.

I can't say that I'm fully satisfied by it, but I'm pretty happy of the result. My skills are rusty, I really need to get on photoshop more.


I looove the colors! I saw this photo of him a while ago, and when I saw the fuchsia hat and the bright green background, I knew I would be making graphics using this photo.

On other news, I'm back to using Andrej mood theme. I'm planning to make a Luhan one and also some Luhan icons for myself, but I'm not sure how long it'll going to take to complete.
