After more than 2 months, I finally finished "Work at Your Own Pace" challenge!!

Aaand with this, I'm officially done with landofart. I don't know what the owner is going to do about the community, since she seems like losing interest in continuing it and had moved on to another obsession. It's a shame, really. It was fun, active, full of creative ideas that prompts you to make more things, better things, and with techniques or subjects you've never thought of before. It was fun while it lasted :/

The last days of landofart also got me thinking, ... no matter how little appreciation I got on/for the graphics I made, ... I'd rather make graphics for myself than for anyone else. I love challenging myself, I love making graphics of one subject I'm obsessed about even if no one seem to agree or understand.

The last challenges we could do for points at landofart are Work at Your Own Pace, promos, sig tag and icon overload. I've done the first three, so I am left with icon overload, which basically is a challenge to make icons for other people. We have to go to that person's interest list, look for something that we would icon, make 5 icons, and give it to him/her. After everything is completed, submit the links of fulfilled requests to the main challenge post. TOO MUCH WORK. My range of fandom is small, I'm pretty sure not many people has a lot in common with me. Even if I watched the same tv shows with them, it would be a pain in the ass to look for caps. Plus I'm a perfectionist, I don't want to give half-assed icons to other people. Plus I know not many people like the same style of icons, why would we spent time and energy to make something for someone who might not appreciate it? In short, I hate this challenge and decided to pass. I still have time til tomorrow noon, so let's see if I change my mind about making more stuff for points.
