CAN I START TO SPAM YOU WITH THINGS YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED IN?
NO? Ok here we go.

Ramble is my middle name so I'll start with letting you know (if you don't already) that I am kind of obsessed with a landcomm called landofart @ LJ. And if you don't know what a landcomm is, it's like a team community with activities that center around graphics-making. These kind of sorting hat communities usually have themes or genre like tvrealm is around any tv shows, fantasyverse is around fantasy themed movies and tv, or something more specific like hogwartsishome which activities are all Harry Potter related. Land of art is a more ... general one. Members could make graphics on any subject, fandom or stock, as long as it fits the theme or challenge requirement.

A year ago, when I was dealing with all the life changes, moving, settling back in my country, and finding a job ... I kind of lost my muse in doing creative graphics things. Aside from that, I got too invested in my graphics in the past and gets REALLY sensitive about people stealing. I did made simpler graphics (just light retouches) for fyeahraja. Fyeahraja was a whole different story. My fandom was filled with too much drama, I needed another obsession to distract myself from it. I got too invested (again) with fyeahraja, I post a lot of things in a day and I couldn't stop checking it every second. I scoured every corner of the internet for Raja's pics and it's becoming an unhealthy obsession. I got obsessed too fast, too much and the obsession soon wore out. I left the site and never posted anything anymore since after Raja's crowning. (I still love her though!)

Then I found my way back to LJ's graphics making world, starting with claiming Tommy for guys20in20. I wanted to start my old claims at fandom365days again, but the owner said that I had two options; start from 0 or make icons every day if she grant me an extension. I wasn't sure if I want to make Tommy related graphics when there is nothing going on about him (= no new pics etc), so I said, nah I'll drop my old claims and I'll start new with Andrej.

Andrej. He is a very good subject to make graphics of. I could go on and on about him but basically finding him as my new muse unleashed something inside of me. I claimed him for various icontests, I made tumblr graphics of him, I also, use him as my main subject when making entries for landofart. I made graphics I've never attempted to make before, like a complete mood theme.

... I really need to learn to sum things up. I always start blogs with long preface and in the middle I got distracted or tired so I never get to my point lol (see, even more rambling).

ANYWAY! My point is, I'm going to start blogging about one of the challenges called "Work at Your Own Pace", where we pick our own prompts and fill them with graphics :) Needless to say, my graphics will be all Andrej.
