Last weekend I did my nails and it's black with glitter tips. These nail polishes aren't new, I bought it years ago when I was obsessed with Tommy. I haven't used them again for a while, and I have to say I'm quite happy with the result on my left hand fingers! The ones on my right hand are so messy hahah, I need to practice applying nail polish using my left hand :p

Anyway, I am all alone all this week at the office as my boss and my colleagues are on their business trips to Hong Kong and Tokyo. Monday was a disaster because the internet went down all day long. I used my phone to browse and open tumblr and such, but I still prefer my traditional internet with a computer or a laptop.
And then, the whole office building were experiencing power failures, the power went on and off for 5 times until it finally went down. For what feels like forever. I said to the office boy that I'm going to leave the office and go to the mall (connected with the office building) since there's nothing for me to do here anyway. So I went down the stairs for 9 floor with many other refugees. The main lobby was chaotic. People everywhere and many of them were making calls telling the other party about the power outage.
Several parts of the mall were also power-less with non-moving escalators and dark restaurants. I went to iBox because I've been wanting to buy a new ipod shuffle. My old one which I bought in 2008 and is still working properly has gone missing for 2 weeks now and I just can not bear to continue living without it. So I went there and purchased it, happy with the new shiny little ipod shuffle, especially after I learned that now it also could play playlists.
The next day, ... I found my old ipod.

It was inside my drugs case, and now I remembered that I put it there so that I don't lose it. I'm actually amazed by how much more compact it has become! (though not as small as third gen) And with this, I have the first, second and fourth generation of ipod shuffle. Probably I just love ipod shuffle too much.
On an unrelated note, I'm now officially addicted to my phone. Especially the photo editing apps. Ade told me about Photoshake, and it's so fun to play with some old photos using the apps. And I thought Path was this cool new thing that is so happening right now. I was excited about it until I saw people from facebook trying to add me. Some are high school friends whom I've never talked to, and some are just like ... people I met ONCE in my life, that I don't give a single fuck about. What is the point of limited social media networking when all you're inviting are people that you're not even close to?? I don't get it. Also, call me bitter single girl, but I'm so over people who keep using their children's pic as their profile picture and keep posting pics of their kids. I get it, your kid is cute and everything, but I'm friends with you to get updates about you, not your kid. They'll never walk in my shoes, but it really is just harder when you're single and continuously get shoved in the face by the fact that everyone else around you are married and have kids. Um wow why does this entry turned into a rant.
Anyway, the internet at my office is fixed now so I can blog again haha. Yesterday I was busy with the sudden assignments from the head office, but today it's all done~. Hoping for a fun long weekend! :)
