Let's get real here, anyone reading my blog or have known me in fandom would know : I love pretty boys. Pretty as in, so pretty they could easily pass as girls (I was obsessed with Taylor Hanson back in the day). I'm a big fan of gender bending (see : Andrej Pejic obsession) and drag culture (see : RPDR obsession), or cross dressing in general. So I really don't know what it is not to like about Gee performance by SuJu. I know, I know, it's like from 2 years ago, performed as a part of their Super Show 2, but this performance right here, made me regret the fact that I wasn't their fan back then.



I mean, what is not to love about it?

It was a cute & fun performance and you got to see 8 (7?) of the members cross dress as SNSD members, singing, dancing and acting all cute. Plus, Gee was a very popular song back then, too. Everyone knows the song's catchy tunes and the 'gee gee gee gee gee' part.

The realization that Ryeowook really looks like a little girl, and ...


All the butt-slapping


pants-holding, butthole-poking,


leg-lifting,


piggy-backing, back-hugging

weird cute posing actions


and the general playfulness of the performance.
So yea, this is one of my favorite live performances ever, nbd.


I've seen other SuJu numbers that involves cross-dressing and turns out, I don't enjoy the Single Ladies + Lady Gaga skit. It's very painful to watch. I'm not sure what my reason is, but this number to me, is looking like they're trying too hard to please the crowd. Everything is just ... painful. The awful-ass wig, the short-one sleeved dress, the everything. Unlike Gee performance, they don't seem to enjoy it, either. Plus this is a lip sync, which is good for them because it's easier to do, but of course, less enjoyable for us the audience. Eunhyuk looks scary as hell in this getup! I'd rather see him in his pink trousers acting all cute even without a wig. Though like, Gee performance was years ago when they were cuter and younger, now they are grown-up men, which makes cross-dressing more and more ridiculous. ... Except for, you know, Kyu, Wookie and possibly Heechul. For SS5, if you ever going to do it in Indonesia, this is a request from a future concert-goer, please consider something cuter and more enjoyable cross-dressing number, thanks.
