I finally succumbed to it.
IDK man, I was surrounded by the thoughts of babies from YG Treasure Box, TXT keeps popping on my feed, the name Huening Kai triggered my interests, so here I am. I watched the boys' individual teasers, they're alright. I saw the photos, yes they cute. Other than that, I wasn't really paying attention and I certainly didn't follow any of their social media accounts. I saw the countdowns but again, I didn't really care. If any, I was glad that the numbers are going down and they no longer trend every single time they release anything because phew. Less tension means less drama and it's better for my mental being. Now I can get into them on my own terms anytime without any pressure.
I did vaguely remember that they're going to release something after the last member teaser, and last night they did. They released an introduction film of them all together. It was super cute, bright, fun, light, cheery. They boys are super adorable and full of smiles. I have to say, I am weak for cutesies. I even memorize their names and their birth year smh.
Choi Yeonjun is the oldest born in 1999, he has sad eyes.
Choi Soobin was born in 2000. He's tall.
Choi Beomgyu was born in 2001. He's super pretty and he knows it.
Kang Taehyun was born in 2002. He's the tiniest of them all. He has super big eyes and nose despite the small frame of his face. Does this deer in a headlight face in his every photo.
Huening Kai was born in 2002, he's mixed and he's super adorable.
Some are saying that they lack distinctive individual qualities and they look too much alike each other but I for one, LOVE that they look like each other at first glance. It makes the group cohesive, fit for the flower boys youth theme they are going for. And like any other group you just got yourself into, they're not actually alike once you get to know them. I couldn't separate V from Jungkook the day I just got into BTS, which probably to some people is an impossible pair to get mixed up with.
The reaction I've seen online is mostly positive and I couldn't help but falling into the hype. Shit. I enjoy their faces so I followed them on twitter. Let's see what kind of music they'll do. BigHit is rolling out more teasers/stuff.
I see less TXT now on my timeline as the hype slows down and the people I'm following being extra cautious not to piss off 'BTS only' crowd. I got no friends though so I'm free to do whatever I want. I refrain from tweeting about them too though. Maybe I should switch my account back lol.
