Elaborated thoughts on SMTown Live (I)

I had too many crazy ideas for this show even if we weren't sure yet whether we'll go or not. Yung didn't get the tickets on his hands til Friday night, just a day before the show. I didn't know what ticket it would be, and I was pretty sure we'll get tribune seats so I borrowed a binocular from my friend. I did other shameful things that I don't think I would want to remind myself about by writing them down here, SO I WOULD NOT.

Let's just get on the main things! I saw on twitter on 8 am that people were already in line for the concert. The concert is 6.30 pm, they're nuts! It is predictable though, and I had no intentions to follow their traces whatsoever. Besides, I had a job interview in the morning so I went to an industrial area on a Saturday morning like a responsible adult. Turned out, I had to get a medical check-up after the interview so I was waiting in line at a health clinic when other people were already inside GBK area, waiting in line to get inside the main stadium.

Yung was working til 2pm, so I had some time to get on twitter to find maps, setlist prediction, and download some songs I thought I would enjoy listening before the concert.

He picked me up at home at around 4 - 4.30, and again, as predicted, the traffic jammed here and there near the venue. We parked at Senayan Plaza and walked to GBK. We arrived at around 6, I guess, grabbed some food at the stalls very close to the gate, and got in at 6.20-ish, just 10 minutes before the show. The show started with f(x) and a bunch of stuff I know nothing about, but there are several things I took notes of (non-SJ) :

Maybe their singles don't do that good? They appeared with only 3 songs, 2 as the opening and one before the show ended. Amber is one bad ass chick. Amber appeared several other times in a collaboration with others, and she got loud applause and screams whenever she was on screen. Victoria was pretty, but IDK ... Electric Shock was okay, I guess.

EXO
... is a group of very young boys, they are very pretty. When they introduce themselves, the management provide a text of their name on the screen so we would remember. They have a lot of members (12)! Chanyeol was cute, he was teasing the person standing beside him (I think it was Luhan or .. Sehun) for reading the writing on his hand before trying to talk in Indonesian. But when he talked, he made a stupid mistake (saying 'saya' (me) instead of 'kalian' (you all)), and laughed out. Kris has the most fans out of everyone, I think.

Kangta
Who is this guy? LOL I had no idea, but he was foine with a great voice, too. But he acted like everyone thinks he is the most handsome person ever, which is not the case and is kind of gross.

TVXQ!
Hmm ... I'm not sure what to make of this group. They were very popular in Japan when they were still DBSK, but I've never followed anything so I was just clueless. Red is Cassiopeia? I saw red lightsticks but I really can't figure out whose fans they were, there were quite a lot of them. I just can't like them, no particular reason.

Well you, girl, are the center of everything boring about this show, tbh. She is a very talented singer, I know, but she looked like she was lipsyncing all the way through. Not a lot of the fans know her songs, many chose to sit because we were tired and were waiting for other bands to appear. Also, her number with Eunhyuk were replaced with uh .. either Sehun or Luhan from EXO (ETA : It was Taemin from Shinee) so ZERO POINTS FOR YOU.

SHINee
Hmm ... There's this one guy with the face I would like to punch. IDK his name (ETA after internet research : Jonghyun). BUT TAEMIN IS ONE CUTE BOY 8D. He is also the mistery bangs guy on Lucifer MV, lol I tried to remember who that is and was lost the whole time. Key is reaaally cool. Too bad Minho couldn't come, they said he had another schedule. Shinee isn't bad at all, but since I was only waiting for Suju, they appeared too much on stage for my taste.

SNSD
Well ... this is a group of a bunch of girls with the same face. Taeyeon is cute. I don't know about others but SNSD was the next main performer after Suju, I think. Suju came here before for a Super Show but this is the first time for SNSD. A lot of people were rooting for them and many of the fans were guys.

Aaah, I took too much time writing this entry. I need to go to bed. Next recap would be only about Suju.
