Yes, the ASUS was not that bad, my friend who majored IT also recommended it (he uses the eee PC which was a tiny netbook?) I just didn't gave it enough thinking when I bought mine, it was too bulky and heavy for my needs. And I didn't get OS for that one, so the store person installed a non-genuine Windows in it *gasp*. (works fine and a lot of people uses a non-genuine version of windows but I was just paranoid). Plus it had problems with the wi-fi adapter, I didn't really understand what was wrong but it was frustrating.
I actually really wanted a new desktop :( but I need the mobility because basically I'm now living in 3 places; my parents' home on the weekend, my apartment on weekdays, and my office which doesn't allow me to internet except if I bring my own laptop (>_____<)
